Haere Mai!

Our story began in 2010, in a hole-in-the-wall shop space in Noblesville, Indiana...

Jael was on her way to Berlin, Germany for a 3-month internship when she was hit up by an old friend from her university days. Emily Wasonga, founder of Love's Hangover, an accessories shop in Noblesville, had heard through the grapevine about Jael's latest adventure and wanted to talk about how they could collaborate. They had lost contact for a number of years and it was their shared passion in making small ripples in communities that brought them back together.

Before long, the girls were spending late nights in the shop space at Love's Hangover, beading, sharing stories and conspiring about how they could take over the world together. By the time Jael moved to Auckland in 2011, she had picked up a few skills to someday create her own fusion of beads, small business and community development.

Five years later, we are finally ready to launch.

We may look like just another accessories small business, but each piece that comes out of our shop comes with a story. From how we came to acquire the beads, to the friend who inspired the style of a piece, these are our stories.

This is our Story Shop. Come share your stories with us. Haere Mai.
